Olivier Martinez has filed a court request to prevent his 18-year-old daughter with Halle Berry, Nahla Aubry, from participating in the custody proceedings regarding their 13-year-old son, Maceo. In court documents obtained by Us, Martinez claims that Nahla has no significant relevance to the case and that her involvement could be biased.
Previously, Nahla stated that she has never seen her mother physically attack Maceo. She added that throughout all the years of living with her mother, she has not witnessed any violence on her part.
However, Martinez believes that Maceo should have the opportunity to express his views in court. He claims that his son expressed a desire to talk about an incident that occurred on September 26, when, according to Martinez, Maceo informed him of a physical attack by Berry.
On October 1, Martinez obtained a restraining order for domestic violence against himself and Maceo and requested an emergency modification of the joint custody arrangement with Berry. He also asked the court to impose a no-contact order with Berry until the next hearing scheduled for October 16.
Berry’s attorney previously denied Martinez’s allegations, calling them «completely unfounded and intentionally misleading». In new court documents, Martinez claims that Maceo expressed concerns that his words would not be taken seriously and even took a photo of Berry after the incident to document what happened.
