The remains of Rivas Hernandez were found in Tesla in Los Angeles

The remains of Rivas Hernandez were discovered on September 8, 2025, in the trunk (front compartment) of a confiscated Tesla in Los Angeles. The vehicle was towed to a lot after reports of an unpleasant odor, where investigators later found her remains in bags inside the car.
Rivas was reported missing in 2024 in Lake Elsinore, California. Authorities claim that her final disappearance occurred in April 2024, and she has not been seen since.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner determined that Rivas died from «multiple penetrating injuries caused by objects», - and her death was ruled a homicide.
«The deputy medical examiner conducted an examination of Miss Rivas Hernandez on September 10, 2025, at the DME Forensic Science Center», - the medical examiner’s report states. «The cause and manner of death were established on December 9, 2025».
Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Odi Ukpo added, «After several months, I am glad that this information can now be made public, not only for the community but also for the grieving family experiencing this loss. It is unimaginable how long they had to wait to find out what happened to their daughter».
d4vd has been charged with first-degree murder, as well as additional felonies including continuous sexual abuse of a minor and unlawful destruction of human remains. Prosecutors also allege the presence of special circumstances, such as witness murder and use of a weapon, which could result in life imprisonment without the possibility of parole or the death penalty if convicted
