Father of Kim Porter, Jake Porter, speaks out about the video in which Sean «Diddy» Combs attacks Cassie Ventura. Jake — whose late daughter previously dated the 54-year-old rapper before her death in 2018 — called the recording «disgusting» in a new interview.

«I was appalled by the video, and I wouldn’t even talk to my enemy like that», - said 78-year-old Jake to Rolling Stone magazine on June 7. «It was disgusting».

Jake added that he «couldn't believe» what he saw in the video between Cassie, 37, and Diddy, which was recorded during the 2016 incident.

«I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t even do that to my enemy», - he added.

Jake also noted that he never saw Diddy physically abuse his daughter during their relationship from 1994 to 2007. However, speaking to the publication, Jake admitted that the video of the attack «made [him] think» and added: «My heart goes out to Cassie».

«I didn’t know he could stoop to that level», - said Jake. «I guess it surprised a lot of people. I wouldn’t even do that to a dog».

Reflecting on his late daughter’s past romantic relationship with Diddy, Jake noted that he considered the producer «a very jealous person».

«They both loved each other», - Jake continued. «Kim's love was genuine. Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls it love, you know? I really don’t think he has a clue what love is».

Last month, a video from 2016 surfaced online showing Diddy dragging and hitting Cassie, and he issued a public apology via Instagram.

«I was in a dark place», - said Diddy in the video. «I wanted to get to the bottom, but I’m not making any excuses. My behavior in that video is unacceptable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. … Disgusting. It was disgusting then when I did it, and it’s disgusting now. I sought professional help, went to therapy, to rehab. I had to ask God for mercy and grace. I’m so sorry, but I commit to being a better person. Every day».
