After the Olympic Games, sports fans have the opportunity to watch the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris! From August 28 to September 8, 2024, fans will be able to watch their favorite athletes compete in various disciplines, including swimming, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, cycling, and much more. It all starts with the opening ceremony, which will be shown on August 28 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. A repeat of the ceremony is planned to be shown at a prominent time at 9:00 PM Eastern Time.
The President of the Paris 2024 Games, Tony Estanguet, described the opening ceremony in his statement.
«This ceremony in the heart of the city is a strong symbol, illustrating our ambition to use our country’s hosting of its first Paralympic Games to put the issue of inclusion for people with disabilities at the center of our society», - said Tony.

Fans can watch the Paralympics on Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, on the Paralympic Games YouTube channel, and on the International Paralympic Committee website.
The games officially begin on August 29, starting with para-badminton, archery, boccia, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, shooting, wheelchair basketball, shooting, wheelchair rugby, track cycling, and sitting volleyball.
All games can be watched live on NBC from 2:30 AM to noon.
Hunter Woodhall, one of the most outstanding track and field athletes at the Games, teased viewers that they will be «amazed» by what is to come. According to the Paralympics website, the athlete told fans that they should «come and expect to see what the human body is capable of».
