Pascal will remain in the series «The Last of Us» through memories

Joel’s death means that Pascal’s main role in the series ends in the present time, however Pascal will continue to appear in The Last of Us through memories and flashbacks, just like Joel in the video game. Showrunners have confirmed that Pascal remains a part of the series for the second season, albeit in a more limited, non-linear role.
