Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have decided that after their third child, they will be done. The 28-year-old Super Bowl winner shared that he and his 28-year-old wife do not plan on having any more children after the birth of their next baby. Patrick explained that although he believes he will be done after the third child, he enthusiastically talked about how happy he is to share amazing moments with his children at a press conference on Tuesday, July 16.
When asked about children and the news that his wife is pregnant for the third time, Patrick joked that he is not planning on having any more. «I'm done. I’ll say that. I said three and I’m done. So that’s cool. I always wanted to have kids at a young age», - he said.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback continued to explain how happy he is to share wonderful things in his life with his children. «It impacts my life, and that’s why I wanted to have kids at a young age, and now we have a third child joining our family, and Brittany is doing great with it, and we still go out and enjoy life, letting our kids see these wonderful things», - he said. «They may not remember it [or] what’s on video, and that’s really cool».
He also acknowledged that considering how much time his football career takes up for him, he is happy to spend time with the little ones during the offseason. «I spend so much time in the football building during those seven to eight months, and when I’m with my family, I want to enjoy these [moments]», - he said.
Brittany announced that she is pregnant with their third child in an Instagram post on July 12. She shared a photo of herself and Patrick with their two youngest children, Sterling Skye, 3 years old, and Patrick «Bronze», 18 months old, while holding ultrasound photos. The whole family was dressed in matching white outfits. «Third round, here we go», - she wrote next to the photo
