Paris Hilton is one of many who tragically lost their homes in the wildfires in Southern California in January 2025. The destruction began with a fire in the Palisades, which not only affected the Pacific Palisades area but also Malibu. Paris said that she and her family watched as their home burned down live on television, as millions of viewers saw the disaster unfold throughout the Los Angeles area.

In response to the disaster, Paris launched an emergency fund on Friday, January 10, through her non-profit organization 11:11 Media Impact, to help those who lost «their homes, precious belongings, beloved communities, and sense of stability». The fund will specifically support families with young children who have been forced to leave their homes. Paris started the initiative with an initial contribution of $ 100,000 and promised to match additional donations up to another $ 100,000.

«As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your little ones», - she wrote on Instagram.

Paris' net worth is estimated at $ 300 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Paris is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of the Hilton hotel chain, but she has also earned money as a model, reality TV star, and entrepreneur.

Paris is married to Carter Reum. The couple, who started dating in November 2019, got married in a star-studded ceremony in November 2021.

Paris shares two children — son Phoenix and daughter London — with her husband, Carter. Both were born via a surrogate, a decision she described as «difficult».

«I would have loved to experience the feeling of a child growing inside me and feeling their kicks and all those exciting moments, but my life has always been so public», - Paris explained in the premiere of the second season of Paris in Love. «So, even though the child is biologically mine and Carter’s, we decided to have a surrogate carry it».

After the birth of their first child, Paris told PEOPLE: «I've always dreamed of being a mother, and I’m so glad that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start a family together, and our hearts are full of love for our little one»
