The wait is over. «Percy Jackson and the Olympians» has returned with Season 2, once again featuring Percy, Annabeth, and Grover on Disney+ and Hulu in the next chapter of their adventures. This season adapts «The Sea of Monsters», - following the trio as they face new threats, meet unexpected allies, and embark on a dangerous journey far beyond the safety of Camp Half-Blood.
Disney officially renewed the series on February 7, 2024, when CEO Bob Iger announced the decision during the company’s quarterly report. «Filled with magic, wonder, adventure, and heart, 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' has captured the imagination of audiences of all ages around the world», - said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, at the time. «We are thrilled to embark on this exciting new adventure and second season with Rick Riordan, our wonderful partners at 20th Television, and the exceptional cast and creative talents who bring this story to life».
Rick Riordan, the author of the original Percy Jackson novels and executive producer of the series, added, «I can’t wait for us to present the next season of 'Percy Jackson' on Disney+! We’re raising the anchor. We’re hoisting the main sail. All hands on deck, demigods. We’re heading to the Sea of Monsters!»

Season 2 premiered on December 10, 2025, with the release of two episodes on Disney+ and Hulu. The season consists of a total of eight episodes, which will be released weekly on Wednesdays until January 21, 2026. The release schedule aligns with the measured, chapter-by-chapter pace of Riordan’s books, allowing viewers to follow the story each week.
New episodes will be released early on Wednesdays at 12:00 AM Pacific Time / 3:00 AM Eastern Time on Disney+ and Hulu.
