The song «Do No Wrong» by Liam Payne has been postponed due to his death

It’s been a couple of weeks since Liam Payne passed away, and his memory lives on not only through his son, family, friends, and fans, but also through his music. The late singer, who died at the age of 31 after falling from the third floor of his hotel room in Argentina, left behind a pre-recorded song titled «Do No Wrong», - which he had been working on with singer and producer Sam Pound before his death. On Wednesday, October 29, 2024, Sam took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce: «Today I have decided to delay 'Do No Wrong' and leave all rights to the family to decide. I want all proceeds to go to a charity fund of their choice (or however they want). While we all love this song, it’s not time yet. We are still mourning Liam’s passing, and I want the family to mourn in peace and prayer. We will all wait. With love, Sam Pound».

According to US Weekly, the collaboration is scheduled for release on November 1, 2024.
According to Genius, each artist has their own verse in the song. Sam starts with «Rum-bum-bum-bum, you play my heart like a drum/ So charmed by that look in her eyes/ I want to be where you are/ So let’s take our time, like nothing else matters». This is followed by a chorus with lines like «She can do no wrong, and she’s in my arms», - «She's my once in a lifetime love, yes», - and «We can run away, we can run away».
