Peta Murgatroyd misses her neighbors Jenna and Val in Los Angeles

Peta Murgatroyd shared her feelings about moving from Los Angeles to Florida and the absence of neighbors Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy. In an interview with Us Weekly, she noted that she misses the unexpected visits from friends that always brought joy.
Murgatroyd and her husband, Maks Chmerkovskiy, announced their move to Florida earlier this summer. Johnson, Chmerkovskiy, and their three-year-old son, Rom, remain in Los Angeles, where they are currently filming the 35th season of «Dancing with the Stars». Maks also expressed his longing for Rom, noting that working on the show takes a lot of time, and if they didn’t live so close, they might not see each other for several months.
Jenna Johnson previously mentioned that she is happy to see Maks and Peta thriving in Florida but also feels sadness about the distance. She admitted that after two years of living in the same area, they had grown accustomed to the closeness and now realize how important it was.
Although Johnson and Chmerkovskiy are content with life in Los Angeles, Murgatroyd and Maks would be happy to see them in Florida. Maks emphasized that Johnson and Chmerkovskiy are at the peak of their careers and should focus on their work.
Meanwhile, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy are preparing for their new show «Burn the Floor Presents Maks and Peta Live!» which will begin in March 2027 and run for two months. Murgatroyd assured that they had no doubts about being ready for this project.
