During her summer tour Carnival, Pink was forced to cancel her show on Wednesday, July 3, in Bern, Switzerland due to unknown medical issues she was facing.
In an Instagram post where the 44-year-old singer performed her songs in front of a crowd, posted on Tuesday, July 2, she noted: «I am so sorry that I had to cancel my show in Bern this Wednesday. I do everything possible to perform for you every night, but after consulting with a doctor and exploring all available options, I was advised that I cannot continue the performance tomorrow».
She concluded her statement with: «sending you all love and health, and I really hope to see you again soon. Pink xoxo».
Fans are expecting a full refund, and it is unclear whether she will have to miss any more shows — her next stop is in Denmark on Saturday, July 6. Despite the «disappointed» artist, her representatives have not commented on her health condition, according to Page Six.
Although this is not the first time she has paused a tour, in September 2023 she announced on Instagram that she had sinusitis, which prevented her from performing. «I am very sorry to announce that I have a severe sinus infection, and the doctor advised me not to perform today. I am so disappointed. You know I do everything possible to never miss a show», - she wrote.
The tour — across North America and Europe — began in 2023, where she performed songs from her latest album Trustfall. This album is very personal for the hit singer of «Raise Your Glass», as her father’s death influenced the album.
