America was captivated by a wide range of talents during the 19th season of America’s Got Talent. From dancers to singers and other impressive performances, the competition was fierce, but the winner was finally crowned, taking home the $ 1 million prize. The finale, filled with confetti and the roar of the audience, included special performances by Simone Biles, Michael Bublé, Steve Aoki, and others.
Judge Heidi Klum expressed her joy on Instagram, writing: «I knew from the first moment I saw you that you were destined to be a star… I am so proud of you, my Golden Buzzer. Watching America fall in love with you, just like I did, was the brightest moment of my season, and I can’t wait to see you continue to shine».

The winner of the 19th season was Richard Goodall. In an interview after his victory with Deadline, he shared: «I didn’t expect anything from any part of the show». He added: «I just went out on stage and left it all there. I sang a song, and whatever happened, happened. I just went out on stage, every time, and had fun, absorbing everything that was taught to me here on the show».
Supported by his wife throughout the process, Goodall shared with the publication that he plans to use the prize money to find a «beautiful home and possibly retire stylishly and see what other opportunities open up».
In the finale, he performed with the group Journey, singing the song «Don't Stop Believin'», the same song with which he auditioned, earning him the Golden Buzzer from Heidi.
As mentioned on the show, Richard Goodall is a 55-year-old janitor from Indianapolis. He is married to his wife, Angie.
Second place went to Roni Sagi and Rhythm, a dog performance. In third place were Sky Elements, a drone performance, followed by Solange Cardinali, a quick-change artist, in fourth place. Comedian Lernmore Jonasi took fifth place
