The second season of the series 1923 is dedicated to the late cast member Cole Briggs Plenty. Known for his role as Pete Many Clouds, the 27-year-old actor passed away just three months before filming for the second season prequel of Yellowstone was set to resume. After the first episode of the second season opened with the dedication «in memory of», fans wanted to learn more about Plenty and his mysterious death.
