Paul Bettany and Ruari Mollett talked about the new Marvel series «VisionQuest». In this project, the rebooted character Vision is in hiding and interacts with artificial intelligences embedded in his programming to understand who he really is. However, when a hunt is declared for Vision, he goes on the run with a mysterious teenager who may be his reincarnated son.
In an interview with «Extra», - Paul Bettany noted that Vision is on two quests: an internal one—to understand and accept himself—and an external one—to find his human son, which seems impossible yet true at the same time. Ruari Mollett, who returns to the role of Tommy, stated that he does not feel pressure, only excitement, adding that it is an incredible opportunity since fans love this character very much.
Bettany also shared that he has a new costume in the series, which, according to him, is «not that cool» on the inside, as it is hot and heavy, but he is not going to complain since he is well compensated for it. He emphasized that fans have taught him for whom he creates Vision, and that this character has always been for those who feel isolated and do not find their place in life.
The premiere of «VisionQuest» will take place on October 14 on Disney+.
