Paul McCartney revealed how he performed at Taylor Swift’s wedding

Sir Paul McCartney spoke about his performance at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, which took place at the request of the bride. In an interview recorded on October 2 for Jimmy Kimmel’s show, the musician noted that sometimes he has to call artists to agree to perform, but in this case, it was Taylor who reached out to him with the request.

According to McCartney, Swift wanted him to perform the Beatles hit «I Wanna Hold Your Hand» from 1964. He added that he suggested to Taylor that she should sing along with him, saying, «You should sing this to your man, Travis!»

McCartney attended the wedding, which took place in July at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Travis Kelce, commenting on the event, called it «the best night of his life» and expressed gratitude to everyone who came to celebrate their wedding. He also noted that he had always dreamed of having a wedding in that famous venue.

Taylor Swift, who wore a wedding dress by Christian Dior at the ceremony, actively supports Kelce by attending his NFL games. However, she missed his away game on September 27, as she was present at the MTV Video Music Awards.
