The holiday season is quickly approaching, and Starbucks is getting ready to celebrate!
The coffee chain recently hinted at the upcoming holidays on Instagram, posting a photo of a wrapped gift with a red Starbucks Cup label that reads «11/7», - and the caption «The holiday spirit is almost here». Fans of the season and their favorite drinks have already begun expressing joy and excitement.

The date posted on Starbucks' social media was for the launch of the holiday menu. Starting on Thursday, November 7th, fans will be able to enjoy their favorite seasonal hot drinks, as well as festive Refreshers for the first time.
Starbucks is bringing back its iconic Peppermint Mocha — a holiday favorite for over 20 years — as well as other classic drinks like Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, and Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. Seasonal cold foam options, such as Peppermint Mocha, are also returning, along with new options like Gingerbread Cold Foam and Salted Pecan Cold Foam that can be added to any drink for a festive touch.
In exciting news, Starbucks is introducing its holiday Refreshers for the first time with the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher. Customers can also enjoy this drink as a Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher or opt for the Cran-Merry Drink by adding coconut milk.
«These drinks are inspired by the idea of holiday punch as a sensory experience — appearance, aroma, taste», - said Billy Alteri, Starbucks' lead beverage developer, in the announcement of the new menu items.
The chain will also offer food items, including returning favorites like Sugar Plum Cheese Danish and Cranberry Bliss Bars, as well as three new sweets and one savory option: Dark Toffee Bundt, Penguin Cookie, Snowman Cake Pop, and Turkey Sage Danish.
In 2024, Starbucks' Red Cup Day will take place on Saturday, November 16th.
Over the past three years, the event has been held on Thursday, November 16th, Thursday, November 17th, and Thursday, November 18th.
Customers can order any size of a handcrafted holiday or fall drink — hot, cold, or blended — and receive a free grande (16-ounce) reusable red Starbucks cup with a «playful trendy design» while supplies last.
They can then return the cup to get a 10-cent discount on their drink, as well as 25 bonus stars for Starbucks Rewards loyalty program members using the Starbucks app
