Budweiser decided to showcase the meaning of friendship in its upcoming ad by including two «American icons»: a Clydesdale horse and an eagle. In honor of its 150th anniversary of brewing in the U.S., the ad demonstrates how the horse and the eagle become friends after the eagle falls from its nest.
Todd Allen, senior vice president of marketing for Budweiser at Anheuser-Busch, released a statement about the ad to People. It stated: «Celebrating 150 years of Budweiser and 250 years of America, we knew we had to do this in a way that only Budweiser can. 'American Icons' brings our heritage to life through powerful storytelling featuring Clydesdales and the American eagle. This ad will leave fans excited and proud to enjoy Budweiser while celebrating our shared important moments».
As seen in the touching advertisement, at the end, Budweiser’s message plays: «150 years, this Bud’s for you», - as a farmer looks at the horse and the eagle with tears in his eyes.
If that couldn’t be more American, the ad features the song «Free Bird» by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The Food Network star celebrated his 58th birthday by sharing a video on Instagram that caused a stir across the country. The AI-generated clip showed a darker shade of Guy’s hair instead of his signature blonde spikes. It turned out that this transformation was for a Super Bowl ad with Bosch, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Guy even hinted at his big transformation in a statement to People, noting: «If you’re going to do something big, do it big. They asked, 'Can you shave your beard?' And I said, 'I would do that for this. It’s such an important ad. It’s a big deal.'»
