Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, passed away on Sunday. TMZ was the first to report the news, and the Los Angeles County confirmed his death at a rehabilitation center.
A representative for the family, including Cindy, Rande, and Kaia Gerber, released a statement saying, «The family asks for privacy during this very difficult and painful time». It is known that Presley had struggled with addiction and mental health issues. In January 2019, he was arrested for driving under the influence, which resulted in a three-year probation and mandatory participation in an addiction treatment program.
At the end of 2025, Presley candidly spoke about his struggles in an Instagram video that was later deleted. He admitted to taking buprenorphine, Xanax, and Valium to cope with panic attacks, noting that «the benzodiazepines fluctuated depending on what was happening in his life». Presley also mentioned that he had not consumed alcohol for several months.
