President Joe Biden is awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the country’s highest civilian honor, to Hillary Clinton and 18 others «who have made America better», - the White House announced early on Saturday. The awards will be presented later today at the White House.
On January 3, the 82-year-old president also awarded the Medal of Honor, the country’s highest military honor, to seven U.S. Army veterans for acts of heroism during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian award, presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, global peace, or other significant public or private efforts.
