Presidential debate between Harris and Trump: when and where to watch Presidential debate between Harris and Trump: when and where to watch
With less than two months until the elections, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are preparing for their first presidential debate. This clash is happening at a critical moment, as both candidates seek to make a strong impression on the American people and solidify their positions in the race.

Initially, it was expected that Trump would debate President Joe Biden at an event on Tuesday. However, after a poor performance in the first debate in June and growing concerns about his age, Biden decided to withdraw from the race, setting the stage for a high-profile meeting between Harris and Trump.

According to national polls from Real Clear Politics, Democrats have gone from trailing Trump by 3.1 percent nationally to leading by 1.8 points in the weeks since Harris entered the race — an improvement of almost five points in just one month.

For those eager to watch, here’s everything you need to know about when and where to watch the debates live.

The event will be broadcast at 9:00 pm Eastern Time for 90 minutes from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

The NCC is a non-profit organization that is home to a museum and promotes education about the US Constitution. It has previously served as the site for national political events, including the 2008 Democratic presidential candidate debates and two ABC News town halls before the 2020 elections.

ABC World News Tonight host David Muir and ABC News Live Prime host Linsey Davis will serve as debate moderators, which will be broadcast by the network in partnership with its local affiliate WPVI-TV/6ABC and streamed on ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu.

At this time, no additional presidential debates are planned, meaning that the Tuesday meeting between Trump and Harris may be the only opportunity for voters to see their clash before election day.

However, vice presidential candidates — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Ohio Senator Jay DeWine — are set to debate on October 1 at an event organized by CBS News
