Prince Harry and King Charles III have distant relations that seem to be growing even more distant.
Harry, who is worried about the safety of his wife, Meghan Markle, and their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, has reportedly turned to his father, the 75-year-old king, for help in restoring their security service.
«Harry is scared and feels that the only person who can do something about this issue is his father», - a source from the royal circle told PEOPLE magazine. Another source close to the situation added, «Harry is determined to protect his family at all costs».
However, a palace source claims that the idea that the Duke’s security depends solely on Charles is «completely untrue».
From the monarchy’s side, royal expert Robert Jobson shared in his new book «Catherine, Princess of Wales: Biography» that Charles remains open to rebuilding his relationship with his younger son, but his main concern is Harry’s dwindling finances.
Harry had concerns about security even before officially stepping back from royal duties — one of the reasons for their distant relationship. Now his worries about protecting his family and financing that protection have increased, even two years after his lawyers stated that the family «had been subjected to documented threats from neo-Nazis and extremists».
