Princess Anne, the younger sister of King Charles III, sustained minor injuries and a concussion as a result of an «incident» at her home, Buckingham Palace reported on Monday.

The incident occurred at her country estate in Gloucestershire, when the 73-year-old member of the royal family was walking in Gatcombe Park.

It is expected that she will return home this week, but «on the advice of doctors, Her Royal Highness will postpone her engagements for the following week», - a Buckingham Palace representative said. «Princess Anne apologizes to those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result».
