Priscilla Presley celebrated the 18th birthday of her granddaughters, Harper and Finley Lockwood, by posting a photo of them on Instagram. In a post shared on October 7, the 81-year-old Priscilla congratulated the girls, who are the daughters of Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Lockwood.
Lisa Marie and Lockwood married in 2006 and became parents two years later. They divorced in 2016. Lisa Marie was also the mother of daughter Riley and son Benjamin, whom she had with her ex-husband Danny Keough. The couple was married from 1988 to 1994. In 2020, Benjamin died by suicide, and three years later, Lisa Marie passed away from a heart attack at the age of 54. Priscilla has openly discussed how Lisa Marie’s death changed the dynamics within their family.
During a performance in May at Westgate Las Vegas, Priscilla noted that the loss divided their family. She shared that now that the girls are grown, they have their own boyfriends and are pursuing their own lives. Her son Navarone Garibaldi added that Benjamin’s death was the first event that separated the family. Priscilla emphasized that despite their closeness, everyone experiences grief in their own way, and this has created distance between them.
Riley also shared her feelings after her mother’s death, noting that there was chaos in their lives and that it was difficult for everyone to understand how to move forward.
