Sale of TikTok to another company: Oracle, Microsoft and others prepare an offer

TikTok has not yet been bought by another company.
Since President Trump extended several perspectives have emerged. According to NPR last month, Oracle, Microsoft, and other American investors are preparing a bid to acquire TikTok’s American operations with the assistance of high-ranking White House officials. Additionally, in early February President Trump mentioned that with the creation of a sovereign fund he «might do something with TikTok», further hinting at the possibility of US government involvement in the sale of the social media app.
As of February 2025, TikTok is still owned by the Beijing-based company ByteDance
