After the postponed 2023 Emmy ceremony in January, the 76th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is back and scheduled for Sunday. Hollywood will celebrate the best in television that aired from June 2023 to May 2024, with the ceremony hosted by legendary comedy actor Eugene Levy and his son — actor and producer Dan Levy.

What time will the 2024 Emmys start?
The biggest television event will begin on Sunday evening at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (5:00 pm Pacific Time), two hours after the start of the red carpet. The Emmy ceremony usually runs on schedule and lasts approximately three hours.
ABC will broadcast the ceremony live from the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles, and it will also be available for viewing on Hulu the next day.
The event can also be watched live on the PEOPLE and EW websites, as well as on several social platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, and The Roku Channel.
The E! cable network will show the red carpet show starting at 6:00 pm Eastern Time, hosted by Laverne Cox, comedian Heather McMahan, and E! host Keltie Knight. The show will be broadcast live on E! and on the channel’s social media accounts, including YouTube and Instagram.
E! News will also air three programs before the ceremony: E! Live Countdown to the Emmys at 5:00 pm Eastern Time, E! Live: The Emmys at 6:00 pm Eastern Time, and E! Live: After Emmy Party at 11:00 pm Eastern Time.
People and Entertainment Weekly magazines will host their «Live from the Red Carpet» show at 6:00 pm Eastern Time, hosted by Patrick Gomez and Janine Rubenstein.
ABC will also host its own red carpet show, hosted by veteran host Robin Roberts and ABC News correspondent Will Reeve, airing live on ABC from 7:00 pm Eastern Time.
For viewers in Los Angeles, KTLA Live will provide its own red carpet coverage starting at 3:00 pm Pacific Time.
The series «Shogun» became the most nominated this year, with a total of 25 nominations and 14 wins already received at the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony last week. In second place are «Bear» with 23 nominations and «Only Murders in the Building» with 21 nominations.
With its 23 nominations, «Bear» set a record for the most nominations for a comedy series in one year. The show, which won seven awards at the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony, is vying for its second consecutive win in the «Outstanding Comedy Series» category.
