Kyle Fraser was crowned the sole survivor during the final of the 48th season of Survivor, and viewers were curious to learn all about the winner’s personal life, career, and more.

Kyle is currently 31 years old.
Kyle works as a lawyer, but previously was a teacher, which helped him in Survivor. During an interview with Parade in February 2025, Kyle recalled his work at a juvenile center.
«It was a charter school attached to the juvenile center, and they could earn credits in money so that when they left, they had something to go out into the world with. And it was a really tough experience», - Kyle explained. «To learn when you’re in a juvenile center, I couldn’t imagine. Learning was hard enough for me as a kid in school».
Kyle explained that «trying to connect with [students] when they’re trying to figure out, 'When am I getting out of jail?' was really tough. But I found a way to do it in different circumstances. … Some days were really tough and painful to see what they were going through, painful to try to connect with them. But you have to keep moving forward. And I feel like I need to have that same attitude in Survivor».
As a lawyer, Kyle is used to keeping information secret, which helped him in Survivor. During an interview with Parade, Kyle said that he «keeps secrets well», - noting that the show is all about the people around him.
«You can’t just come out here and say, 'I want to make this move.' You need people as a foundation», - he explained. «It's not just playing cards. You have to be able to build a foundation before you play. But to tell you in secret, I keep secrets well. I’m a lawyer; I have to keep clients' information confidential. There are certain parts of my life that I just don’t feel comfortable sharing with people, and I’m perfectly fine not giving them away».
The Survivor contestant is originally from Roanoke, Virginia, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Kyle is married to his wife, Maggie Turner. The couple got married in 2024, as seen on her Instagram, and it seems they have been together since 2019.
