Gabriel «Gabe» Brown’s wife, Raquell Brown, has filed for divorce after seven years of marriage. According to Us Weekly, she submitted the documents on September 22, stating that their marriage is «irretrievably broken».
TMZ reports that the couple separated in July and had been living in different homes since April. Raquell, who is raising three children with Gabe, currently resides in Minnesota, while Gabe is in Washington. The filed documents indicate that they do not have any joint property, but Raquell is requesting the court to fairly divide their personal belongings.
Raquell is also seeking for each of them to be responsible for debts incurred after their separation date. She reserves the right to request temporary spousal support and support during the court proceedings. Additionally, Raquell is asking the court to require Gabe to cover her legal fees and other expenses related to the divorce.
She is also requesting child support for their three children, including medical support, as well as a portion of daycare, transportation, and education expenses, including assistance for future college or vocational school. Her filing also includes a request for the court to assist in establishing a proposed parenting plan.
Gabe’s brother, Bear Brown, confirmed the divorce news in a TikTok video on September 29, noting that «things happen» and expressing hope for a peaceful resolution in the best interests of the children.
Gabe Brown became known to viewers in 2014 when the show «Alaskan Bush People» first aired, depicting his family’s life in the wilderness. His relationship with Raquell was featured on the series after Gabe’s sister, Rain Brown, introduced them in 2018. The couple married in January 2019, and a second ceremony took place the following year, which was also shown on the show.
