Ryan Anderson reacts to the death of Ken Urquhart

Ryan Anderson, the ex-husband of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, spoke out about the death of her former fiancé, Ken Urquhart. Anderson reported that he learned about the tragedy through Instagram and initially did not believe it. He noted that his first reaction was shock, and he pondered how it could have happened.
According to Anderson, his thoughts quickly shifted to Gypsy and their daughter, Aurora, whom she had with Urquhart. He recalled that he immediately thought about how Gypsy must be feeling and what would happen to their child. Urquhart was found dead on October 1 at his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on his 34th birthday. According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, police arrived at the scene and discovered Urquhart without signs of life.
According to the police report, Gypsy’s sister, Anita Blanchard, called for an ambulance, claiming that Urquhart was in a «dark place» and had not gone to work. During the search of the home, drug paraphernalia and firearms were found.
Anderson, who was married to Gypsy from July 2022 to December 2024, expressed his condolences and noted that, although he did not get along with Urquhart, he felt sad to hear about the death of a person. He also reached out to Gypsy’s father to check if everything was okay.
Gypsy and Urquhart began their relationship while she was serving time in prison, and after her release, they confirmed their relationship in April 2024, with their daughter being born in December of the same year. Urquhart and Gypsy broke up a month before his death. Anderson emphasized that his main concern right now is Gypsy and Aurora.
