Ryan Anderson talked about the relationship between his estranged wife Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urcer in an interview with E! News on Wednesday, June 5th. «It's hard to watch this in the public space… There were certain things that happened that really affected me, that really impacted me», - Ryan said.

While Gypsy was serving her sentence for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, Ryan sent her a letter that emotionally touched Gypsy. Falling in love, they got married in July 2022.
After being released from prison in December 2023, Gypsy and Ryan were able to start their journey as a married couple. However, in April, Gypsy filed for divorce and a restraining order against Ryan.
Despite the breakdown of their relationship, Ryan shared: «It's amazing to see the love and support that I receive just by being myself… I’m just a sincere person. I fell in love with Gypsy, that’s what sets me apart. I’m just an ordinary guy. So it’s nice to see the support».
The couple seems to have faced difficulties in Gypsy’s life after prison. In the promo clip for Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, Gypsy and Ryan argued about her ex-fiancé, Ken.
«I just think I could be happier somewhere else», - Gypsy told Ryan in the clip. «So call Ken, you’re probably already talking to him», - he replied.
Later, he recalled in the show’s trailer: «He [Ken] is trying to slip back in because now Gypsy is out of prison».
A look at the new documentary series provided more details on how Gypsy was considering returning to her ex. In late April, she confirmed her relationship with Ken after they were photographed kissing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
«But I don’t want to rush things, because, you know, I want to go at my own pace… I don’t want to set expectations and make everything too serious… We’re just enjoying our time together and, you know, hoping for the future», - she previously confessed to Entertainment Tonight, saying that he might be her soulmate
