Ryan Phillippe reminisced about his relationship with his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon in his Instagram Stories on Monday, May 27th. «We were hot and angsty in the late 90s @reesewitherspoon (such a cooler time than today)», - wrote the 49-year-old actor.

The former couple met on the set of the film «Cruel Intentions». They got married in 1999 and had children — Ava in 1999 and Deacon Phillippe in 2003.
During a 2015 interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the 48-year-old actress mentioned: «It was funny — we were reminiscing because we shot a lot of 'Cruel Intentions' [in New York], and here we were with Ava and Deacon, and they were amazed that we were making the movie before they even entered our minds».
