«Brianna and I have parted ways, and I respect and love her with all my heart», - wrote Zak. «She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time, and for that, I will always be grateful to her. I have had an incredibly tough year personally and have faced some pretty serious things».
Zak added, «I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s personal space in this and, if you have it in your heart, mine too».
At the end of his post, the singer and songwriter concluded, «To all that I am and all that I have disappointed, I apologize. I am trying to do everything in the best way possible. I have disappointed people who love me, and mostly myself».
It is unclear what Zak meant by his remarks about disappointing people. However, a few hours later, Brianna broke her silence on their breakup in an emotional video.
«I have been crying for like five days straight», - she said, admitting that she was «completely shocked» by Zak’s public statement. «He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me. … I’m at that point where, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally, through things you shouldn’t, just because you love them and want them?»
The internet personality and singer «Revival» began dating in July 2023. The former couple made their first red carpet appearance in February 2024 at the Grammy Awards ceremony.
