«It's definitely frustrating and annoying, and it kind of holds me back in other aspects of life, like in my marriage to Jace», - she noted. «Part of me is definitely afraid of losing him because I feel like our marriage is really good, except for the intimate side, which is ironic because that’s his main need, and for me—it's the main wound».
This «wound» Mikayla referred to is her past sexual abuse, which has become a central theme of the show.
