At the Venice Film Festival, attention was paid to women in cinema through Reel Women, a late-night party organized by director, actress, and producer Maria Soccor at the Campari Lounge. Starting at 10:00 pm, a mix of filmmakers, producers, actors, and industry representatives gathered at the private event in support of women in film during one of the most influential gatherings of the year.

Soccor, known for her award-winning films and advocacy for underrepresented voices, has established herself as a regular presence at festivals, often leading panels and mentoring emerging talent. With Reel Women, she expanded her mission in Venice, fostering dialogue and recognition of women shaping the cinematic landscape.

The guest list reflected the festival’s global influence. Jared Harris attended the premiere of his new film «The House of Dynamite» in Venice with his wife Allegra, receiving early praise. Among other notable guests were producer Debra Gaynor from Producers Without Borders, actress Agathe Lévy, producer Victoria Silmara Turmina from Mindgate Motion Pictures, Jojo Day from The Members Club and Producers Without Borders, publicist Jane Owen from Jane Owen Public Relations, Anne Häfström from Creative Lifestyle Agency, actress Tora Kim, and models Jillian Neish and Tia Gussen.

As the oldest international film festival, founded in 1932, Venice remains a platform for the most significant works in cinema, alongside Cannes and Berlin, as one of the leading showcases in Europe. The addition of Reel Women this year underscored the importance of elevating female creators both in front of and behind the camera.

The evening was presented by Campari in partnership with Maria Soccor Productions Inc. and Jane Owen Public Relations. Guests enjoyed signature Campari cocktails, appetizers, and drinks throughout the night. «Venice has long been a stage for incredible storytelling, and REEL WOMEN was an opportunity to come together in recognition of the incredible female talent shaping the industry today», - said Soccor.

By invitation, the gathering highlighted Campari and its partners' commitment to inclusivity, creativity, and the future voices in cinema. The Campari Lounge buzzed with energy until late at night from the collaboration and conversations that define the most exciting week in Venice
