In November 2020, while driving on Interstate 35 in Dallas, MO3 was aggressively pursued by another car in broad daylight, causing the artist of «Outside» to stop in the middle of the highway. As he stopped his car, a man named Kewon Dontrell White approached him, who tried to flee, but White caught up with MO3 and shot him multiple times with a rifle. White left the scene, and MO3 was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
White and another man named Devin Maurice Brown were both charged. Brown was charged with aiding in the attack on MO3.
In March 2025, Yella Beezy was arrested and charged in Dallas with capital murder for allegedly hiring White to kill MO3.
