Raising two little boys under the age of two is a challenging task for any mother. But as Rihanna continues to expand her Fenty Beauty empire, the businesswoman is ready to shed light on all the positives of raising sons.
«I think it’s really cool to be a mom of boys», - said Rihanna, 36, to E! News at the launch party for the Fenty Beauty Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation on April 26. «I can be as carefree and messy as I want, but it also makes me embrace epic things about what it means to be a woman and feminine, and all my femininity. Now I appreciate it much more, I even wear pink».
Supporting the brand’s biggest launch since 2017, Rihanna chose a custom gold dress by Alexander McQueen, styled by Jahleel Weaver. Although she remained silent about her upcoming dress for the Met Gala, the singer of «Umbrella» said that motherhood has made her choose simpler outfits.
«I switch between wearing a tracksuit and, for example, today I’m wearing a dress!» she said. «I'm the only one in this house who can do that right now».
Between her partner A$AP Rocky and their two sons RZA, 23 months, and Riot, 8 months, Rihanna knows that there is a lot of male energy in the house. In this chapter of her life, however, the Grammy winner feels a new sense of confidence that comes with motherhood.
