Robert Saleh was the head coach of the New York Jets for the past few years. Before moving up the ranks in the NFL, Robert worked as a college coach. In 2002, he worked as a defensive assistant at Michigan State University until 2003. The following year, Robert worked at Central Michigan University in 2004 and at the University of Georgia in 2005.
In 2005, Robert worked as a defensive intern for the Houston Texans. Four years later, he was promoted to assistant linebackers coach in 2009.
Robert has a total of seven children — five sons and two daughters — with his wife Sanaa Saleh.
The brother of former NFL coach David Saleh barely managed to escape from the South Tower of the former World Trade Center in New York during the attacks on September 11, 2001. Robert told The New York Post in September 2021 the story of his brother.
