Summer may be Olympic, but it’s also Sabrina Carpenter’s official summer.
The 25-year-old singer giggled in a new ad for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The singer of «Feather» was filmed sitting alone at a café table, flipping through a newspaper and sipping her espresso.
The ad featured a small blue bird joining Sabrina at the table, asking her what she was doing in the «City of Love», - to which she replied, «Isn't it obvious? The Olympics!» Later, we find out that the bird wasn’t actually there, and the singer was just imagining it due to the excessive amount of espresso she had consumed. All the café patrons sitting nearby just stared at the singer, noticing that she was talking to herself, so at the end of the commercial, the waitress told her colleague in French, «I think she’s had enough espresso».
Barry Keoghan’s girlfriend shared the ad on her Instagram, where she captioned: «Olympics! In Paris! Too much espresso! Dream becomes reality on Friday, July 26. @nbcolympics @peacock».
Fans found it amusing that the former Disney star was talking to an animated bird, especially after a viral video where she talked to a cat and jokingly said, «I went to animal communication school, trust me, we’re close».
So her fans referenced this video in the comments of the Olympics ad. «SHE'S USING HER ANIMAL COMMUNICATION SCHOOL SKILLS», - one user noted.
