Sabrina Carpenter made a huge impression — not only in the music industry, but worldwide. The hitmaker of «Espresso» won her first Grammy at the award ceremony on February 2, 2025, before she even took the stage to perform her globally famous song, as well as «Please, Please, Please». And, true to Sabrina, she changed outfits and transitioned from old Hollywood jazz to her modern sound during the performance. So, how many Grammys did Sabrina win, and which ones?
Find out below what awards Sabrina won this year.
This year, Sabrina took home two Grammys — one for the pop vocal album «Short n' Sweet» and for the pop solo performance of her single «Espresso».
During the pop star’s acceptance speech, Sabrina acknowledged that she won her first Grammy: «This, wow, my first Grammy, so I’m going to cry», - said the «Taste» artist. «But I wrote down the names so I wouldn’t forget, on this napkin, but now it’s probably all messed up».
«I'm so happy that we can come together and do something so special and beautiful and celebrate music», - she continued. «I want to thank all the fans who allowed my music to be heard by the Recording Academy. I want to thank my mom for driving me to every vocal lesson in Bala-Cynwyd, [Pennsylvania], and I want to thank my dad and my sisters. … This is so special to me, and Short n' Sweet means the world».
Thanking her team and producers, Sabrina jokingly ended her performance by saying, «Holy crap, bye!», which was censored on live television.
Beyoncé won a Grammy for Album of the Year for «Cowboy Carter».
No, Taylor Swift did not win a Grammy this year. However, this did not stop her from openly supporting her friends and colleagues in the music industry. Taylor was seen on camera standing up and applauding other artists as they accepted their awards. The «Karma» artist also presented Beyoncé with an award for Best Country Album.
Beyoncé won three Grammys — one for Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for «II Most Wanted»
