This is the season of witches! Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are joining forces again in «Practical Magic 2», the sequel to their popular fantasy romantic film from 1995. Warner Bros. confirmed the release date and additional details in May 2025 in an Instagram post featuring the voices of Sandra and Nicole saying, «Wolf's tooth and morning dew / something old and something new».

«Practical Magic 2» will be exclusively released in theaters on September 18, 2026. Over the past two decades, Sandra and Nicole have talked about working together on the first film. During a previous interview with Today, Sandra recalled that they «had a great time» with Nicole on set.
«And the fact is, we have nothing in common except for dinner at the table with a bottle of wine, and it all somehow comes together», - joked the Oscar winner before reminiscing about shooting their iconic margarita scene. «We weren’t drunk when we shot those parts or when we did the close-ups. But we had to reshoot a scene where we were far away and lying on our backs, and Nicole just put the bottle on the table and said, 'You know what? There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be drunk here.' And I said, 'You know what? That’s true.'»
The only known cast members in «Practical Magic 2» are Sandra and Nicole. According to the IMDb tagline, the film will focus on a «multi-generational family of witches, cursed for centuries to be loveless, [who] try to break the spell, facing dark secrets and sacrificing for each other».
Nicole confirmed in June 2024 that she and Sandra are working on the sequel, hinting that there is «much more to tell» in the story, according to her interview with People.
