Participant of the show «90 Day Fiancé» Sarper Güven announced his breakup with Shekinah Garner. On his Instagram, he confirmed that their «fairy tale love story» has come to an end, posting a wedding photo with a tear in the center.
Sarper shared that their relationship began four years ago in Turkey, but now this chapter of their lives has come to a close. He expressed regret over the breakup, noting that he still loves Shekinah, who became his first true love. However, he acknowledged that they were unable to maintain their relationship despite all the efforts they made while being apart until 2024, when Sarper moved to the U.S. on a K-1 visa.
Shekinah previously stated on Instagram that Sarper used her to gain popularity. She accused him of not being sincere in their relationship and merely pretending to want to keep it alive. In response, Sarper denied her accusations, emphasizing that he never placed fame or money above his love for her.
Sarper also clarified that they broke up at least eight months ago and no longer consider themselves spouses. He noted that despite the pain of the breakup, he will remember the good moments they shared together. Sarper wished Shekinah all the best in life, adding that sometimes fairy tales do not end as expected.
