Unfortunately, Ghostface begins to stalk Sidney again 30 years after the first murders in 1996. This time, the killer uses modern technology to bring back some familiar faces.
Despite many characters being dead, only a few heirs continue to be present in the franchise. In descending order from films I to VI, among the deceased are Sidney’s best friends Tatum, after whom she named her daughter, Randy Meeks, Cotton Weary, Judy Hicks, and fan-favorite Dewey Riley.
Dewey’s murder in «Scream» 2022 was perhaps the most heartbreaking moment. Actor David Arquette, who returned to his role in «Scream 7», - has been part of the franchise from the very beginning.
