Selena and Los Dinos: Family Legacy is the latest tribute to the late queen of Tejano music, Selena Quintanilla, whose musical influence, dazzling fashion, and infectious charisma live on 30 years after her death. During the Billboard Latin Music Week 2025, Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla, described the documentary film as «completely» different from other projects that had more Hollywood charm. «It's our family, [Selena's husband] Chris [Perez], my mom, my dad, A.B. [Quintanilla], myself, our colleagues telling the world our story of how we started from this and created this».
Here Hollywood Life provides all the details about Selena and Los Dinos and how it continues the legacy of the late «Como la Flor» hit performer.

«There are a few things that I will always keep to myself», - Chris told People before the release of the documentary film. «I believe in the relationship between husband and wife, even when one of them is no longer here. It was really important for me to give as much as I could».
The guitarist also said that he keeps love letters from his late first wife, calling them his most «precious treasures». He added: «I hope that her fans or people who watch the documentary film will understand how happy I feel to have this»
