An excerpt from Drake’s statement about what his 2016 song «Too Good» was about resurfaced on X, and in it, the rapper openly confirms that it was indeed about the breakup between «me and Serena».
He candidly shared: «I get serious on a couple of tracks, but it’s more about me and Serena. It’s funny because when I make songs about women, I also make songs for them. So I know what song to make. If I’m going to talk about them, I’ll at least do them justice by making a song they’ll like.
