The project is spearheaded by producer Natasha Rotwell, who will also play the role of social media creator Tareas «Risa Tisa» Johnson, Variety reports.

Throughout the series of approximately 50 TikToks, Risa Tisa revealed the alleged lies her ex-husband told her during their marriage. She only referred to him as «Legion» in her videos, but his real name was eventually discovered to be Jerome McCoy.
In her series, Risa Tisa claimed that her ex-husband told many lies, including that he was a football player at San Diego State University and that he asked for help paying for the funeral of his stepdaughter, who apparently was still alive. Jerome later denied his ex-wife's accusations.
Risa Tisa’s videos quickly became popular on TikTok, and she eventually gained over 3 million followers on the platform.
It is currently unclear where viewers will be able to watch the series on cable television. The project is being handled by Natasha’s production company, Big Hattie Productions, as well as ABC Signature studio after a «competitive bidding war for rights», - according to Variety.
