The sirens have already broken the sound barrier among television viewers. With the participation of several of Hollywood’s biggest stars — Julianne Moore and Kevin Bacon, to name just a few — the miniseries has become a hot and sharp hit! And now, as the actors appeared at the official premiere on the red carpet, television fans are wondering what is so appealing about this show.

Below are all the details you need to know about the latest hit show «Sirens».

«Sirens» was released on May 22, 2025.

«Sirens» is available for viewing on Netflix.

Julianne leads the show as the character Michael, also known as «Kiki», a billionaire and former lawyer. The rest of the main cast includes Megan Faye as Devon DeWitt, Millie Alcock as Simone DeWitt, Glenn Howerton as Ethan Corbin III, Bill Camp as Bruce DeWitt, Felix Solis as Jose, and Kevin as Peter Kell.

Since Kevin plays Michael’s (Julianne's) husband, the veteran actor opened up about his character during an interview with Netflix’s Tudum before the series was released in May 2025.

«In a way, I seem quite immature because Julian’s [Michael's] character clearly runs everything, and then it changes a bit — it changes a lot», - Kevin joked. «It changes everything, and — it’s all because of the script, by the way — I felt that the way to support this was to make him just boyish, maybe even a little silly and shy. It’s fun to play, when he meets [Simone], he’s 15 again. He really doesn’t know how to behave and embarrasses himself. He just acts like a little boy».

For Kevin personally, he explained that his experience playing «bad guys» helped him empathize with complex villains.

«I don’t like all the characters I’ve played, but I need to understand their point of view to some extent», - the actor from «Footloose» pointed out. «A few times I’ve played real monsters, but I think of them as people. If they’re real monsters, they’re real monsters, but when I play a person, no matter what he does, I just need to understand that he is somehow justified — or maybe not justified, but in some way it’s human, just human. That’s all»
