Seth Meyers shared a touching family photo on Thanksgiving Day 2025

Seth Meyers is one of the most popular comedians on late-night television, but above all, he is a father! In honor of Thanksgiving 2025, Seth brought his three children, Ash, Axel, and Adelaide, onto his show to discuss the photo shoot for their Christmas card.
«Last week, my kids came to take a photo for our Christmas card», - Seth explained. «We shoot this little video where they dress up as turkeys every year, and it’s always special. But this year, I didn’t warn my kids at all, and at the last minute, as they were leaving, we brought them in, put microphones on them, and I invited them to come out in front of our audience, and I interviewed them. And we’re showing it for the first time now».
After the kids sat down for the interview, Seth asked them what they dressed up as for the card.
«Ash, what did you dress up as this year? It’s always a themed photo», - said the father of three, to which his son replied, «We were characters from the movie 'Elf'».

Yes, Seth has been married to his wife, Alexi Ashe, since 2013. Alexi is a human rights lawyer, and she met Seth at a friend’s wedding in 2008.
During a previous episode of the podcast «Strike Force Five» with his late-night colleagues, Seth recalled the instant connection he and Alexi had.
«Alexi and I hit it off so quickly that on Friday night into Saturday, people kept asking us how long we’d been together», - he said, then joked, «We were flirting at such a high level on day two. Then, unfortunately, it took me five years to propose!»
Seth has three children in total, all of whom he shares with his wife: Ash, Axel, and Adelaide. He previously opened up about fatherhood in an interview with The New York Times.
«I had very high hopes for it [and] they’ve been met», - Seth said in February 2019. «I was so close to my dad growing up, and I hoped that would be true for me and my boys, and so far it is. … When I leave for work in the morning, my son runs up to hug me. So I walk out the door, and even though I have a whole wonderful day ahead of me, I know I’ve already had the best part of my day. And that’s pretty amazing».
Ash is Seth’s eldest child. He was born on March 27, 2016, and was named after his mother, Seth said during an episode of Late Night last year.
«We named our son Ash, which is my wife’s maiden name», - the comedian said. «And I can’t imagine a better way to honor what my wife did than to name him after her».
Axel is Seth and Alexi’s second child. He is the younger of the two Meyer brothers and was born on April 8, 2018.
Axel’s birth was quite difficult for Alexi. Seth explained to his late-night audience at the time that right after calling 911, his wife was already in labor. Fortunately, a midwife and other neighbors in their New York home helped Alexi while she was giving birth.
«It was just an incredible display of kindness from people we barely knew», - Seth said.
Adelaide is the youngest of the Meyer children and the only daughter. She was born in September 2021. Alexi gave birth to her daughter at home, Seth said
