A few weeks before announcing his departure from WWE, John Cena was confirmed as the host of Shark Week this year. According to Warner Bros. Discovery, the multi-talented artist said: «I usually watch Shark Week from the couch — with lots of snacks, but this year I can’t wait to host a week dedicated to the endlessly fascinating heroes of the ocean. It’s a wild week with amazing new footage, new discoveries, and lots of teeth».
In July, John left his position in WWE, telling the crowd in Toronto at a WWE event: «This will be my last Elimination Chamber 2025. And today I am here to announce that in Las Vegas, WrestleMania 2025 will be the last one in which I participate. Thank you for allowing me to play in the house you built over the years.
