Sean «Diddy» Combs hospitalized with head injury
Over the weekend, Sean «Diddy» Combs was temporarily transferred from federal prison to a hospital due to a head injury. According to TMZ, the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, but the reasons for the injury have not been specified. Sources claim that the injury was not life-threatening, and Combs was conscious and communicating during transport to the nearest hospital.

It is reported that Diddy spent only a few hours in the hospital and was returned to FCI Fort Dix before dawn that same day. In response to reports about Combs' health, his representative told Page Six that they are «aware of the reports regarding Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Sean’s health and well-being are our top priority, and we appreciate everyone who has shown concern».

These events occurred just days after it was announced that Diddy’s release date had been delayed. While his release was initially scheduled for January 21, 2028, it has now been moved to March 8, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons. In a statement to People, the Bureau of Prisons noted that «for reasons of privacy, safety, and security, we do not comment on the conditions of any inmate, including the reasons for a change in release date».

A year ago, Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Combs to 50 months in prison, of which 14 months were credited for time already served. Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution but not guilty on charges of racketeering conspiracy and human trafficking.
