The release date of Sean «Diddy» Combs has been changed again. Although his release was previously scheduled for January 21, 2028, it has now been moved to March 8, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons.
Combs is currently serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix. In a statement to People, the Bureau of Prisons said, «For reasons of privacy, safety, and security, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any inmate, including the reasons for changes in release dates». People confirms that Combs is in a single cell.
According to reports, Combs was seen with a contraband phone in a video published by NBC News. It is also reported that he is spending thousands of dollars on more comfortable living conditions in prison. In response to these reports, Combs' representative, Judd Engelmyer, told Oxygen, «The constant attention to every detail of Sean Combs' life in prison has reached a level where the media is characterizing ordinary prison life as news. The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence in accordance with the rules and is patiently awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal».
A year ago, Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Combs to 50 months in prison, of which 14 months were credited for time already served. He was found guilty on two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution (under the Mann Act), but not guilty on charges of racketeering and human trafficking.
