Sean «Diddy» Combs sustained head injury in prison
Sean «Diddy» Combs reportedly experienced a medical incident in prison. According to TMZ, the 56-year-old musician was transported from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey on Saturday, October 10, after sustaining a head injury, and was returned to prison in the early hours of Sunday, October 11.

A representative for Diddy commented to Us: «We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Sean’s health and well-being are our top priority, and we are grateful to everyone who has expressed concern». In a statement from FCI Fort Dix made on October 12, it was clarified: «For reasons of privacy, safety, and security, we do not comment on the conditions of any inmate, including placement or medical status».

Diddy is serving a four-year sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution in July 2025. He maintains his innocence and has filed an appeal, awaiting a court decision. His attorney, Yuda Engelmaier, noted that Diddy is focused on the appeal and reflecting on his life, striving to become better.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Diddy was placed back in a special housing unit (also known as solitary confinement) following reports that he was living a «luxurious» lifestyle while incarcerated. His representative denied these details, stating that «the ongoing attention to every detail of Sean Combs' life in prison has reached a point where the media is characterizing ordinary prison life as news».

Us also confirmed that Diddy’s release date has been postponed again. He is now scheduled to be released from FCI Fort Dix on March 2, 2028, instead of the previously planned date of January 21, 2028. The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) stated that it does not comment on the conditions of inmates, including the reasons for changes in release dates. A statement from Diddy’s representative also noted that they do not receive explanations on how the BOP calculates or adjusts projected release dates.
